The Stockholm based SaaS company Pihr, appoints outstanding trio to the Board of Directors ahead of continued European expansion
Stockholm, January 23, 2023 – The Swedish SaaS company Pihr, whose purpose is to help close the global gender pay gap through technology, brings in an outstanding trio to the Board of Directors.
Anna Ljungdahl, Investment Director and Head of Sustainable Investment at Industrifonden, Anna König Jerlmyr, former Mayor of Stockholm and Ylva Ekborn, CEO of PostNord Strålfors Group, has been appointed as new Board members of Pihr.
Anna Ljungdahl has over 20 years of experience with a focus on business development and change management from Industrifonden, SEB and H&M. Anna has extensive experience in helping and developing technology companies in the growth phase globally. She is a strong addition with the aim of developing Pihr further towards an International category market leader.
- When Magnus pitched to me, I was both excited and upset at the same time, it is completely incomprehensible that organizations today do not have a smart systematic way of managing salary setting of skills! It is important that we provide companies that in every way want to be serious with good tools. I am extremely inspired to support Pihr in its continued global establishment and thus contribute to a more equitable world, says Anna Ljungdahl
Anna König Jerlmyr is a former Mayor of Stockholm and has an extensive experience in public administration. Anna sits on a solid international network through involvement in organizations such as the World Economic Forum, the global climate network C40 and has long been involved in the issue around equitable workplaces as part of enhancing talent recruitment.
- Reducing inappropriate pay gaps is central to strengthening women's independence and economic security. From a life cycle perspective, an income difference of a few percent per hour can mean a loss of income of a few million SEK in a lifetime. I’m involved in Pihr because they have the market's most effective pay equity tool, that can help do something about the issue, and I see great potential in increasing the international reach, says Anna König Järlemyr
Ylva Ekborn is CEO of PostNord Strålfors Group and has been a member of the Postnord Group's Executive Management Team since 2018. She has previously held senior positions within Eniro, Tradera eBay and Synovate, as well as being a management consultant at McKinsey. Ylva is currently also a board member of Nasdaq-listed Huscompagniet, and previously of Easypark Group.
- I feel hugely motivated by Pihr's mission - Equality through technology - and look forward to using my skills and previous experience to support the team in building a successful software company, says Ylva Ekborn
Magnus Drogell, founder of Pihr says:
- I look forward to strengthening Pihr's board with this merited trio with solid experience in business, finance, sustainability, and governance. As founder and CEO, I am extremely proud that we have been able to attract such experienced board members who will be able to contribute with solid expertise and networks for our continued expansion.
Pihr's platform is used by over 500 customers to ensure equal pay. The company is the market leader in pay equity in the Nordic region and has successfully expanded to Norway, the UK, Ireland and most recently Spain. The company has over SEK 20 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR), and strong growth in all markets.
The growth is mainly driven by increased awareness from companies and organizations, as well as legislation in the area. The largest owners are still the founders, other owners mainly consist of a larger number of business angels. The board consists of Magnus Drogell, Ylva Ekborn, Johannes Lien, Anna König Jerlmyr, Henrik Saläng and Anna Ljungdahl.
