Pihr, the Pay Transparency platform, accelerates growth with the appointment of a new CEO

Stockholm, 13 August 2026
Pihr, a leading provider of Pay Transparency solutions, has experienced strong growth in recent years. The company is now entering the next phase of its expansion and has appointed Rickard Kajson as its new CEO, effective 17 August 2026. With extensive experience in scaling HR Tech companies, Rickard will lead Pihr into its next phase of growth, with a focus on helping customers meet regulatory requirements related to pay equity and pay transparency while continuing to accelerate the company’s growth.
Pihr provides an intuitive and user-friendly platform that helps organisations analyse pay data, close pay gaps and achieve fair pay in line with evolving local and international regulatory requirements.
Rickard Kajson most recently served as CEO of HR Tech company Grade, now part of Talentech, where he led the company through a period of strong international growth, both organically and through acquisitions. He has also held senior leadership positions at Lime Technologies.
Rickard Kajson, incoming CEO of Pihr, comments:
“Pihr is at a very exciting stage in its development. An increasing number of European countries are implementing new legislation based on the EU Pay Transparency Directive, while pay equity and pay transparency are becoming increasingly important strategic priorities for employers.”
“I look forward to working with the team to further develop and expand Pihr’s products and markets, while laying the foundation for continued strong organic and inorganic growth. Pihr has established a strong market position through the deterministic AI capabilities built into its platform, and I am very pleased to have the opportunity to lead the company into its next phase.”
Erik Syrén, Chairman of the Board of Pihr, comments:
“I previously worked with Rickard during his time at Lime Technologies and later at Monterro portfolio company Grade, which subsequently became part of Talentech. With Rickard as CEO, Pihr will benefit from his extensive experience in building and scaling software companies with profitable, sustainable growth, as well as his deep expertise in acquisitions and integration. This will be highly valuable as Pihr continues to grow.”
Magnus Drogell, founder and outgoing CEO of Pihr, will remain operationally involved in the company and transition into a strategic business development role. He will also continue to serve on Pihr’s Board of Directors.
“There comes a point in every growth company’s journey when the time is right for a leadership transition,” says Magnus Drogell. “As a founder, I am extremely pleased that someone with Rickard’s expertise and experience has chosen to take on the role of CEO at Pihr. He has been part of growth journeys similar to the one Pihr is now entering, and I very much look forward to working with him to further strengthen Pihr’s position.”
“I am also very motivated to remain operationally involved in the company, with a clearer focus on strategic business development, new markets and long-term growth, while continuing to serve on the Board.”
