Key Questions & Answers from the Session

1. You developed the program, but do you also work as consultant, so we can refer our clients to you to get the figures right and the reports ready so we (as law firm) then can help them with the further approach from legal perspective?

Yes – in addition to our software, Pihr has a professional services team with highly experienced in-house reward consultants, as well as an extensive network of partner organisations across Europe and North America. These partners include both specialist reward firms and legal firms.

We frequently work directly with law firms: Pihr ensures the data collection, analysis, and reporting are accurate and compliant, while the law firm brings in the legal expertise to advise on compliance and next steps. In this way, we provide the technical and analytical foundation that complements your advisory services.

2. What is the difference between analysis for equal work and analysis for equivalent work?

Equal work means comparing individuals who perform the same or nearly the same tasks.
Equivalent work (work of equal value) means comparing individuals whose roles may differ but are of equal value in terms of complexity and responsibility.

Both perspectives are important in pay equity analysis to uncover and address potential pay discrimination.

3. What kind of training support is available to partners?

We provide tailored onboarding sessions for our partners, customized to the partnership model. The goal is to equip and activate each partner with the resources they need to succeed. Onboarding typically includes:

  • Product training session on how to use Pihr effectively.
  • Workshops on interpreting results and best practices on positioning Pihr with clients.
  • Ongoing support via a dedicated partner success team and technical support team.
  • Access to guides, webinars, and best-practice resources to keep partners up to date.

4. Does it work in Dutch and French?

Yes, our software is tied to local pay legislations of the EUPTD for each EU member state. Currently, it supports Norwegian, Swedish, English, Finnish, Italian, Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese languages to ensure accessibility across markets, and we continuously expand our language coverage. As part of our standard collaboration process with partners, if a specific language is not yet supported, we can add it to the system to meet local requirements.

5. How can partners position Pihr as part of their service offering?

Partners typically position Pihr as the technical foundation for pay equity analysis. The software ensures that data handling, statistical analysis, and reporting are robust and compliant. Partners then add their own expertise on legal, compliance, HR strategy, or organizational change. This combination allows clients to trust the accuracy of the numbers while benefiting from tailored legal or advisory guidance.

Partners can either use Pihr’s software in-house as part of their own service offering, or refer clients directly to Pihr for the analysis, while continuing to provide their specialized expertise alongside the results.
