The Swedish SaaS company Pihr, whose purpose is to help close the global gender pay gap through technology, can today announce that Johannes Lien is making an investment in the company, through Cretum AB and taking a seat on the board.
We are pleased to announce today that Johannes Lien, through Cretum AB, has agreed to invest in Pihr and join our Board of Directors.
Johannes is a purpose-driven investor with 20 years of experience from the Nordic market, most recently as one of the partners that founded Private Equity firm Summa Equity. Previously, he was a Director with Altor Equity Partners and a Management Consultant with McKinsey.
Johannes brings extensive experience from scaling sustainable businesses and will help us refine our strategic direction to continue Pihr’s successful growth journey.
"The global gender pay gap is unsustainable and needs to be addressed. I am excited to partner with Pihr and look forward to supporting their growth so that more organizations can address this challenge." says Johannes Lien.
- Johannes brings a type of experience that rarely can be found in the market. I’m very happy that he has decided to make an investment in Pihr and I look forward to working with him to develop Pihr to reach its full potential”, says Pihr’s founder and CEO Magnus Drogell
Pihr continues its internationalization and during the month of May the company has expanded its operations to Spain. ARR and Net Sales growth is approximately 40% on a year-over-year basis. With new EU legislation around Pay Transparency with a focus on the gender pay gap, the demand for Pihr’s services will substantially increase in the coming years.
