1st of January 2020: Norway tightens up its requirements for annual gender equality reporting

From 1st of January 2020, any unacceptable differences in pay – or in other terms of employment – between men and women must be reported in Norway. These new requirements will affect all companies with more than 50 employees; companies with 20-50 employees will have to provide the same information, if requested by union representatives.

Data that must be included in the report:

The report must include salary analysis between men and women for equal and equivalent positions, as well as gender distribution across the organization, an overview of parental leave, part-time and involuntary part-time between genders must be presented.
